The original door panels didn’t look “impressive” any more and it was time to replace them with something better. Jack Hotelling offered fiberglass door panels which we decided to install. The big question: which side to make visible... Well, a flat side will collect less dirt but the “rough side” looked nicer...... We finally decided for the rough side...... Jacks panels came with good instructions and after a tiny bit of fitting the door panels were ready for painting. Jack has spent a lot of time and money to come up with a simple way to paint them and make the paint adhere to the panels. This work could be considered part of the restoration but, oh well, it’s an upgrade too.
Nicely painted semi-gloss black to fit the bedliner in the cab with the yellow painted cups for the door handles riveted in again.
